Fakir Md Yunus

Fakir Yunus has been working at the BRAC Research and Evaluation Division (RED) as Senior Research Associate, Impact Assessment Unit since July, 2012. Before joining BRAC, he worked in a clinical trial at Laksam, Comilla which was implemented by the Columbia University and the Chicago University. He has obtained a medical degree (MBBS) from Mymensingh Medical College and a degree in Master’s in Public Health (MPH) from James P Grant School of Public Health, BRAC University in 2012. Yunus is also working as a teaching fellow in the research methods module at James Grant School of Public Health.  He also works as mentor for MPH student for the thesis. He has completed the online course “Community changes in Public Health” from the Bloomberg School of Public Health, John Hopkins University in 2012 and another online course on “Health in Numbers: Quantitative Methods in Clinical & Public Health Research.” from Harvard University through HarvardX- An online initiative by EdX. Recently he has been added as enlisted reviewer of BMC Public Health (BioMed Central) - an international peer-reviewed journal.
